Do-it-yourself, with a little help from us

When someone dies you may need to get Probate or Letters of Administration to deal with the property, money and possessions of their estate. Probate is an official document giving you the right to deal with a deceased person’s estate.

DIY is for people who feel they don’t need a lawyer to help advertise and file for a Grant of Probate or Letters of Administration? But you want a lawyer to prepare the documents you need and provide instructions on what to do? Well we can help.

Our DIY Service provides you with all the documents you need, letters, advertisements, Application, Affidavits and instructions on how to file your application for Grant of Probate or Letters of Administration.

There are benefits from doing it yourself, such as you will save around 50% in legal fees and we can have all of the documents prepared for you within (24) hours.

The Process

The first stage involves our lawyers reviewing a copy of the Will (if there is one), the Death Certificate and your completed Questionnaire.
We prepare all documents for you and upload this into your client account. If you have requested that we print this to you, we will send all documents to you via the post. Typically you will have your documents completed within (24) hours from the time we receive your completed Questionaire and a copy of the Will (if there is one) and the Death Certificate.
